Kabuki Kabs was founded in Victoria British Columbia, Canada in 1985. We started out initially with only 7 pedicabs but as demand grew the following year, our fleet expanded to 15. Presently we operate a fleet of 20 cabs.Kabuki Kabs has incredible brand recognition. Kabuki Kabs is synonymous with pedicabs and is among the most respected and well-known pedicab companies in the world. Our pedicab fleet is in top shape with customer safety as our number one priority. We have an accident claims-free safety record that expands over 24 years of operation. In comparison to other pedicab fleets ours stands alone — sturdy, safe and attractive. There is not a fleet of pedicabs in the world today that can claim these historical statistics.
Pedicabs fill a void for taxi service and getting people to and from restaurants and night clubs. Our service runs well into the wee hours of the morning to get people home safely. highly visible pedicabs help reduce drinking and driving. We are also an extra set of eyes for the police. This helps keep our streets safe for everybody.

Kabuki Kab Drivers
Kabuki operators are fully trained, insured tour guides. Operators are friendly, safe, informative and fun.
Our operator training procedures are extremely thorough, including traffic laws, city bylaws, pedicab checkout and safety inspection. Also a test-ride skill assessment, sales techniques, tour training and professional tour guide manuals make us pioneers for a successful business model for pedicab operators around the world.

The tricycle is driven by muscle power — with a little help from an auxiliary electric assist when needed.
